Accreditations
Quality Systems

Certification of a Quality Management System demonstrates consideration
of the internal systems and processes of a company and measures their performance
in delivering products or services at an agreed standard.
Third party certification is an independent review of the declared scope
of activities leading to improved processes and increased consumer confidence.
With COMPCO, our Quality System, accredited to ISO 9001:2000 by the Loss
Prevention Certification Board, will reassure you that you have the right
system for your needs.
Design and installation certification

Automatic sprinklers are installed in industrial, storage, commercial, retail,
residential and domestic premises to safeguard life, property and the environment.
Equipment designs and system configurations are continuously evolving. In order
to ensure adequate protection, sprinkler system installers need an appropriate
level of technical competency in both design and installation.
COMPCO is certified to design and install automatic sprinkler
systems in line with Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1048-1. You can be
sure our standards meet, and in many cases exceed, all industry requirements.

Safety in the workplace

Safecontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health and
safety competency of contractors and service providers.
All our engineers and operatives register with the Construction Skills Certification
Scheme. Combined with a comprehensive safety induction and an ongoing programme
of on site and in-house training, you can feel sure every employee upholds
our health and safety policies. What is more, each policy covers every possible
activity, from manual handling to using the correct personal protection clothing
and equipment.
Qualified supplier

COMPCO Fire Systems are pre-qualified through Constructionline for contracts
and tendering.
Constructionline is open to public and private sector organisations and
endorsed by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. The
OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force also recommend
using Constructionline as part of the pre-qualification and tendering process.
The British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association

BAFSA's primary objectives include providing authoritative information
on the benefits of sprinkler systems and how sprinklers can play a significant
role in saving life and property from the devastating effects of fire.
To these ends, BAFSA works closely with the government, fire and rescue service,
building control officers, insurers, architects and town planners. The association
is dedicated to making sure that sprinkler systems are installed to the highest
professional standards.
