Our policy
 
COMPCO recognises that the prevention or reduction of pollution and protection of the environment is essential to avoid damage and contamination. The company policy is based on the consideration that the company is part of the community. It may therefore have a local and national impact due to the countrywide spread of its operations and the use of raw materials, energy , transport and the possible discharge of wastes. The company strives to minimise the possibility of waste by recycling and the prevention of pollution to reduce it's long-term costs, environmental damage, and danger to its employees and to the public.
 
 
Transport
 
A recent detailed review of our transport has led to significantly reduced CO2 emissions and a basis for offsetting these emissions. COMPCO has now comitted to one particular economical make and model of vehicle for the majority of its sales and engineering staff.
 
 
Sustainability
 
COMPCO ensures projects are sustainable by using efficient materials throughout. Working with WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme), the organisation helping local authorities and businesses reduce waste and recycle, we adopt product substitutions using more recycled content at no extra cost. Likewise, we will create and comply with a SWMP (Site Waste Management Plan) as required.
