Reporting to the National Service & Maintenance Manager, the role will involve developing the service and maintenance base of customers across the UK. Working with the National Service & Maintenance Manager who will manage the delivery of service standards and the training of our service engineers, you will take ownership of the sales function and manage the existing sales team to insure sales targets are met.
Amongst other responsibilities, you will:
Define sales targets for the team ensuring accurate forecasting and predicting sales and sales goals for the department.
Create, monitor, and adjust the sales strategy to maximize revenue and improve efficiency.
Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople
Coach and train the existing sales team and additional staff as the team grows. Ensure the team remains engaged and motivated, planning training where required.
Oversee lead generation, looking for new leads or new ideas to re-engage prospects and move them through the sales funnel.
Maintain and improve relationships with key clients.
Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals.
Investigate lost sales and customer accounts.
Ensure necessary data is maintained and reports issued to the senior management team on a timely basis.

Qualifications & Training
Excellent Account Management skills are required in order to develop strong business relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
A background in a Sales Management is desired along with proven sales achievements.
You must have the ability to encourage a customer focused and performance driven environment. You will also need to be self starting, persistent and approachable with excellent communication and networking skills.
