Project Manager – Surrey Quays

Full Time, Permanent

Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking to employ motivated, driven and positive individuals for the role of ‘Project Manager’ for the Central London Region based from our Surrey Quays Office, yet working on site with our clients.

Position Requirements

2 years direct work experience in a construction project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project.
Experience at working both independently and a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Flexible during times of change.
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Customer service skills an asset.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Job Type / Category

Full Time & Permanent
39 Hours per week from Monday to Friday from 8 am – 5 pm and on a Friday from 8 am – 4 pm.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Technical Knowledge

A demonstrable track record within the M&E Industry would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate. Experience of managing multiple projects to a successful conclusion, basic PC skills are essential, however you must be technically competent with Microsoft Excel and MS Project. You will also need to be flexible during times of change.

A full clean driving licence is required and ideally SMSTS trained with a current CSCS Card.
