Rushwick Cricket Club Sponsorship

We are delighted to announce that we have renewed our sponsorship agreement for a further three-years with Rushwick Cricket Club!

Rushwick Cricket Club was formed in 1927 and has been playing in the picturesque village and civil parish of Rushwick, in the Malvern Hills District since 1953.

Woven into the fabric of the village, Rushwick Cricket Club is on a mission to unite the community. Currently, the Club has Boys, Men, and Mixed Senior and Junior teams including Dynamos and All-Stars for those aged 5-11.

Embracing the joy of Cricket with a twist of fun, the Club has also recently introduced weekly Ladies Softball Cricket Sessions.

Our three-year sponsorship agreement not only provides major financial benefits to Rushwick Cricket Club but also includes the provision of Cricket Shirts for all Senior and Junior players, free of charge.

As well as Cricket, the Club also hosts a range of community events enjoyed by over 2,500 residents. In recent years, these events have included the Queen's Big Platinum Jubilee Party and the Annual Village Fayre. Our agreement with Rushwick Cricket Club also means we will regularly use its facilities for our own Cricket Season and for our Annual 'Family Summer BBQ'.

"For the Club, these valuable sponsorship funds help us to continually improve and extend the facilities we provide to our members and guests. These improvements have included such projects as the leveling and refurbishment of the main playing area, new practice nets, a bowling machine, an electronic scoreboard, additional storage facilities, and a new patio area. We are now focusing on the need for a new clubhouse roof, for which we have begun fundraising." Rushwick Cricket Club Senior Cricket Coordinator, Mark Chappell.

"At Compco Fire Systems we believe in innovation, excellence, and community, something which is embodied in every aspect at Rushwick Cricket Club. Their dedication to the community makes them an ideal partner for us as we continue to strive for excellence in all we do. We are incredibly excited about the future and the numerous possibilities this sponsorship brings." Compco Fire Systems CEO, Matt Baker.

We anticipate that this agreement will also boost opportunities for employment within the local community, having already had interest from two members regarding Apprenticeships.

So, in the words of England Cricketer, Ben Stokes, 'just absolutely never give up'.
